Let’s break the bias, let’s break the “norm”!
Let’s go in deep, let’s go in raw!

It starts with self,
And not being afraid.
To be ourselves, to be authentic –
And not getting mislaid!

Create the space allowing others to be heard,
Acknowledging their talents, their ideas, their stories inferred.
Are we open, do we care-
In listening to these others as they share?

Balance it out and drop the glances,
Drop the unreal expectations,
Of those unconscious bias stances!

For our presumptions be responsible,
Beware of our uncomfortable!

Are we open to inviting in –
New learnings, new understandings of others and their ‘with-ins’?
Try letting go of the conditionings we attach to,
Breaking free from our shadows we need to work through.
Releasing those truths that stops us from further exploring,
Allowing us to transform and be more supporting.
