After years of trying to save for the ever growing cost of Top surgery in the UK and failing against the cost of living, I have decided its time to ask for help.
I have been on the NHS gender clinic wait list for 5 years now and still waiting for my first appointment, the chances of getting top surgery on the NHS are slim and even so would be another lengthy wait of years.
Im 29 and feel Im losing so much time waiting to live my best life where I have had top surgery and dont live with the highly uncomfortable dysphoria of my chest every day.
I have Fibromyalgia and binding every day isnt an option for me, which makes me feel as though Ive had to give up on having a flat chest as top surgery is so expensive and seems so out of reach.
Ive finally hit a point where I know this is what I need and I accept I need help to achieve it.

Top surgery ranges from £8,500 up to £12,000, this doesnt include the consultation needed before hand which can be from £150 to £300. There is also the cost of a private psychiatrist to receive the diagnosis of gender dysphoria needed for this surgery. And for those who are Non binary, two accounts from different psychiatrists are needed.
Top surgery is sadly not straight forward and very expensive.
